Criminal Justice Student Association
About
The Criminal Justice Student Association, CJSA, is an undergraduate and graduate student run organization focused on creating opportunities for students to learn more about the field of criminal justice. Any students with an interest in criminology and criminal justice at the U of M are eligible for membership.
Through the CJSA students have the opportunity to explore career opportunities and make professional contacts. The association also promotes student and faculty interactions. We offer students the chance to gain hands on experience in this exciting and growing field.
Although not required, members of the CJSA can choose to join two separate national organizations. The first and the largest is our chapter of the American Criminal Justice Association–Lambda Alpha Epsilon ( ACJA-LAE). Originally founded as a professional law enforcement fraternity, the ACJA is now open to all criminal justice professionals. Take a look at the history of the ACJA and we’re sure you’ll want to become a part of this organization. Contact Mark Williams at mcwillms@memphis.edu for more information.
We look forward to having you be a part of our organization!!!
